Trust comes first. Here is how we handle your records.
You're trusting us with a conversation about something valuable. This page sets out how we treat it, and where the limits are.
How we work
We check where records came from
Before we approach anyone, we look at how the records were built up and whether you have the right to share them.
We set out what's allowed
We help you decide what a buyer may do with the records, and what they may not, so everyone agrees the scope in writing.
We handle personal data carefully
Where records contain personal data, we look at removing identifying details and sharing only what's needed. We can't promise anonymisation in every case.
Confidential by default
Your company's details and the buyers' names are kept private. Sensitive opportunities can start, and continue, under a confidentiality agreement.
Information moves in stages
Nothing goes further than you've agreed. Each step needs your approval before the next one begins.
A person reviews sensitive cases
Sensitive or high-value opportunities are reviewed by a real person, not left to automated tools.
How information moves
- A short conversation about your company and the records you keep. Nothing is sent.
- Our assessment of how rare the records are, how far back they go, and whether the rights are clear.
- If there's a fit, we look for suitable buyers and learn whether any are seriously interested.
- Where it makes sense, a confidentiality agreement and a careful review of what can be shared.
- Commercial terms that you have agreed before anything changes hands.
Compliance and limits
We work to Australian privacy law (the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles) and the Spam Act 2003, and we go through the details of each case with you. We don't claim to meet every regulation in every situation, and some records can't be shared at all.
